In Spanish we were learning how to say simple questions like, "Hi, My name is _____." And once we learned the basics we made up our own. And then Sr. Homer asked us to just have a conversation on the bus while going home. It goes into the Integration and Application of knowledge categories because you are learning how to keep a conversation going and learning to speak fluent Spanish.
I also took Spanish with Cottonwood and my teacher Ms.Pusey would have us have conversations with her speaking only Spanish that would be our mid-term and term test. I felt that this helped me tremendously because I learned to remember who to recognize certain words and be able to reply to a question being asked in Espanol. |

In financial literacy I learned a whole lot of things that I will be able to use in the future, especially when I go to college because I really haven't had an responsibility's like car insurance or bills. But this class has taught me how to be smart with my money and falling for any website or person who says you have an offer to receive something "free" if you sign up now. I learned that budgeting is a very big deal and really great tool that I can use to limit my spending habits and to save up for insurance that I can benefit from in the future.
